MADCOTA News is a FREE weekly publication that aims to keep senior citizens up-to-date with news and local matters which may be of interest to them.

In 2020 many Senior Citizens provided feedback that, with the rapidly approaching end to print local media, the idea of reverting to social media and online searches was overwhelming and exacerbating the feeling of isolation and concerns with being underinformed. MADCOTA recognised the impending void and sort to fill the gap before problems began and so MADCOTA News was conceptualised.

The publication is distributed as an electronic file via a subscribed email list, as a link on Facebook, and, most importantly, as a tangible print hardcopy that is available at varying locations throughout Maryborough including:
