Join us for a social day out at a Senior friendly budget price.

We will meet up at MADCOTA Community Hub at 9:00am to board the G&D Ross Bus. The bus will depart Maryborough at 9:30am.

We expect to arrive at our first stop of the day by 10:00am, Howard Mining Museum. Guests are free to enjoy the museum at their own pace, or browse the local shops including the renowned VanCootens Haberdashery.

Day trippers will be asked to meet at the Grand Hotel at 11:30am for a delicious lunch and socialising. It’s a great time to arrange a catch up with local friends too!

At approximately 1:00pm we will board the bus and head off to Australiana Cottage in Takura. Here our guests can browse the local crafts and gifts store, meet the animals and enjoy a lovely homestyle afternoon.

We will board the bus at 2:30pm to return to MADCOTA Community Hub by 3:00pm.

It will be a big day of social enjoyment. All meals are included in the ticket price of $20.00, with thanks to the generous Queensland Government funding support through COTA Q.
