This information applies if you are an existing, established business with payroll staff conducting the Support At Home (SAH) work.

Trilogy Care Approved Corporate Sub-Contractor

A Registered Provider (Trilogy Care) can engage other businesses to deliver services on their behalf.

In this arrangement:

The Registered Provider is legally responsible for:

  • Compliance with the Aged Care Act

  • Quality Standards

  • Worker suitability

  • Incident management

  • Oversight and governance

  • Ensuring subcontractors meet requirements

You, as the subcontractor, are responsible for:

  • Delivering services safely and professionally

  • Ensuring your workers follow the Code of Conduct

  • Meeting the Registered Provider’s policies

  • Reporting incidents or concerns

  • Keeping accurate service records

  • Invoicing the Registered Provider

You operate under their registration, their systems, and their compliance framework.

How your corporate business can operate on Mable

There are two compliant pathways:

Pathway 1 — Each staff member registers individually

Each worker creates their own Mable profile with:

  • Their own ABN (sole trader)

  • Their own police check

  • Their own worker screening

  • Their own rates

  • Their own availability

Your business can still:

  • Pay their wages

  • Manage their rosters

  • Provide vehicles, tools, uniforms

  • Set internal policies

  • Handle admin and scheduling

  • Invoice clients through the worker’s Mable account

This is the model Mable is designed for.

Pathway 2 — One owner registers, and staff work under your supervision

This is allowed only if:

  • The registered worker (you or a manager) is the person “responsible” for the service

  • Staff are employees, not subcontractors

  • You ensure all staff meet Mable’s safety and compliance requirements

  • You maintain oversight and quality control

This is common for:

  • Gardening teams

  • Cleaning teams

  • Maintenance crews

  • Home‑modification businesses

But the Mable profile must still be in a person’s name, not the company name.

But you can still operate as a coordinated business behind the scenes.

What you cannot do on Mable

  • You cannot register the business as the provider

  • You cannot list your company name as the worker

  • You cannot send staff who have not been screened

  • You cannot invoice through the company ABN unless the worker is the ABN holder

Mable is legally structured around individual accountability, not corporate registration.
