Who is MADCOTA?
The Maryborough and District Committee on the Ageing Inc. (MADCOTA) was born through a vision of a small group of community members in 1971. The organisation came about from the recognition of the lack of a setting that enabled participation of all senior citizens regardless of income source, marital status or gender. As an individual member you will have a voice on the conceptualizing and implementation of programs and projects, receive automatic invitation to attend all social events at the centre, with VIP seating where applicable, and discount participation in regular activities and functions.
