Community Singing-Circle
Dementia Friendly Community Singing Program
Mixed group encouraging those living with dementia, carers and general public to come together to sing and socialise.
Group is facilitated by a professional singer/musician who leads participants through a variety of songs on a weekly basis. Suttle exercises are also included that focus on such things as breathing, hand - eye co-ordination, balance, reading, problem solving, following instructions and communicating.
The groups are friendly and a whole lot of fun allowing both individuals and carers to link with others in similar situations
Mayoral Heritage Morning Tea

Mayoral Heritage Morning Tea will take place in the setting of the Brolga Theatre. Proudly sponsored by Fraser Coast Regional Council and support by Mansong, Makin’ Whoopee and Harry Simpson the day is sure to impress.

Come and be a part of our magical indoor sing-a-long event, where everyone is welcome to join in the fun! Gather around our artistic impression of a campfire and experience the warmth and camaraderie of a traditional campfire singing circle, all within the comfort of an indoor setting.

The MADCOTA Senior Services Expo 2025 is a dynamic community event designed to connect seniors, carers, and service providers in the Fraser Coast region. Hosted by the MADCOTA Community Hub, it’s categorized as a Trade Show / Consumer Expo under Home & Lifestyle, and it offers a welcoming space to explore resources, support networks, and lifestyle options tailored to older adults.
