MADCOTA Roaming Brunch BROOWEENA
The MADCOTA Roaming Brunch is a monthly event hosted by the MADCOTA Community Hub in Brooweena and other townships outside of the Maryborough city centre.
MADCOTA Brunch
Our monthly brunches are a lovely way to connect with old friends or meet new people in a safe space. With the help of local schools and our fabulous volunteers, you will be treated to a selection of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and slices accompanied by a fresh cup of tea or coffee.
Community Singing-Circle
Dementia Friendly Community Singing Program
Mixed group encouraging those living with dementia, carers and general public to come together to sing and socialise.
Group is facilitated by a professional singer/musician who leads participants through a variety of songs on a weekly basis. Suttle exercises are also included that focus on such things as breathing, hand - eye co-ordination, balance, reading, problem solving, following instructions and communicating.
The groups are friendly and a whole lot of fun allowing both individuals and carers to link with others in similar situations

Come and be a part of our magical indoor sing-a-long event, where everyone is welcome to join in the fun! Gather around our artistic impression of a campfire and experience the warmth and camaraderie of a traditional campfire singing circle, all within the comfort of an indoor setting.
